Something I’ve learned by posting art on the internet is that people value things that provoke emotion over things that look good.

Thats why things like shitposts or short funny comics often become more popular than finished works of art.

I like to try and incorporate both in my pieces— having colored artwork at least helps to catch attention, and showcasing a fun idea with it helps to spread it to a further audience.

I do it because it’s fun for me, but I understand people who are frustrated with that system. Unfortunately, it’s a symptom of peoples’ tastes, so it can’t really change.

The majority of the TTS fandom seems to be a bit Varian-centric, at least that’s what mostly shows up on my feed. And I’m fine with that, he’s one of my favorite characters, I love to see it. But, can you guys recommend me some Eugene and/or Rapunzel or New Dream centric blogs? Preferably still active. I love Eugene, he’s also my favorite character and I love Punzie, and I feel like I don’t get to see them as much.

and the jump from 27 to 400 is fucking funny to me
